She knows that they are the foundation of Worcester’s success. As a non-partisan body, the Board of Education requires its members to not allow political agendas to influence decisions. Elena continues to embody the ideals and standards that Worcester County Board of Education needs.

Small class sizes is our super power.

Small class sizes enhance education by fostering individualized attention, enabling teachers to tailor instruction to each student's needs. They encourage active participation and engagement, creating a more dynamic learning environment. Students receive more feedback, boosting their academic performance and confidence. Additionally, smaller classes facilitate stronger relationships between teachers and students, promoting a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Teachers deserve competitive pay.

Competitive teacher pay attracts and retains high-quality educators, ensuring students receive the best possible instruction. It acknowledges teachers' expertise and hard work, boosting morale and job satisfaction. Adequate compensation also enables teachers to focus on their professional development, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of education.

Offering support for communities.

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.

“With the support from the community we have been able to serve our students better than ever.”
